Miami been clearly the better team so far with the exception of the 4th quarter of g1 and the first quarter last night.

That have, but I'm not sure how much that matters now, it's 1-1...SA was in both games as you would expect @ home. MIA was going to make it close no matter what last night...they were fortunate to get the win with a pretty average game from Wade, but Lewis did contribute.

SA has to figure out a way to get one in So.Beach now or the pressure will be too much coming home 1-3.

How is Miami clearly the better team??

It looked pretty even to me. The Spurs had 4th quarter leads both games with under 2 minutes to play. Neither team has led by more than 2 buckets the entire 2nd halves.

The Spurs could easily be up 2-0 with even average freethrow shooting in the 4th quarter.

Lebron is playing impossibly great AND the Spurs are dead even with them.

Series is even. Will be fun. Lebroning and Parkering while childish is funny. People are just making fun of millionaires in the spot light. Seems harmless enough. Wade should have been fined and glad it happened. Chalmers is out of control. It was a flagrant 1 but not a 2. On we go to Game 3. By the way, it seems like Paolo is headed to this board:burt:

I would say that Wade's flop was a lot more obvious and intentional than Chalmer's flagrant.

In Game 1, Miami played better for 3 quarters, then Lebron went out and SA played lights out for 1 quarter. They will never shoot like that again, so they got it out of their system.

SA and Miami played pretty equal for pretty much the whole game in game 2, but Miami can still get better bc their role players still aren't playing up to par. SA's role players are shooting pretty good, so it is 1-1 and Miami has the advantage.

It will fun to see what adjustments both teams make. For Miami more minutes for Birdman and probably Cole. Chalmers still hasn't played good, Battier hasn't played. Lewis played well in game 2 and Ray in game 1.

It's not the mere poking at Lebron and Parker that bothers me, I can take a joke. Living in San Antonio now, I work with people who were saying they would've been able to play through cramps and that Lebron was a joke. Mind you these are people who are probably 40 pounds over weight and don't like they've ran anything this decade.

As far as Paolo goes, you may see the board in its entirety actually gang up on one person. Here's hoping Hammer drops the proverbial hammer and blocks him.

Game 1, Miami felt like the better team, until the end when the Spurs found a way to finish strong.
Game 2, Spurs felt like the better team, until the end when the Heat found a way to finish strong.

IMO, if LeBron doesn't go off in the 3rd quarter, the Spurs go into the 4th with a pretty good lead.

The nice thing about playing against the Heat is that when you miss critical free throws and disappear down the stretch, no one seems to care. For the most part, the Spurs players will get nothing but praise from the media.

Yah the only reason it felt like the teams played more even in Game 2 was bc of Lebron, if he doesn't play lights out Spurs take it.

All the LeBron bashing and everything and we have seen who the MVP is. LeBron leaves Game 1 and suddenly the Spurs outscore the Heat by 20.

Speaking of cramps, surprised LeBron didn't get cramps from carrying his entire team throughout most of Game 2.

LeBron is the sole reason the Spurs are not up 2-0 with two 20+ point wins.

LBJ was removed from game 1 other wise that game would have been much closer, maybe MIA wins game 1.

Game 2 SA played pretty well* and lost at home. That right there should tell you who the better team is.

*just 11 TOs and shot 46% from 3p (shot 40% reg) while taking 5 more than average.

@Horns, if LBJ didn't exist then SA would be the better team. Like what happened for an extended period of time in game 1 for what I am sure are completely kosher events

You should probably sue your eye doctor for malpractice.

Game 1

1st quarter: Spurs 26 Heat 20
2nd quarter: Spurs 28 Heat 29
3rd quarter: Spurs 20 Heat 29
4th quarter: Spurs 36 Heat 17

Game 2

1st quarter: Spurs 26 Heat 19
2nd quarter: Spurs 17 Heat 24
3rd quarter: Spurs 35 Heat 34
4th quarter: Spurs 18 Heat 21

Looks pretty even and like a series where either team could be up 2-0. So 1-1 is probably right where this series should be.

You must have missed the 1st quarter in that game. If you had seen it, you'd know that the Spurs outscored the Heat 26-20. There have been 8 quarters played and each team has "won" 4 of those quarters.

4th quarter: Spurs 18 Heat 21

Outside of the 1st quarter in both games, Miami obviously been better excluding the 4th quarter of G1.

In the other 5 quarters Miami is outscoring the Spurs 137-118 but yeah Miami isn't clearly the better team. :L:bullshit:

8 quarters have been played, each team has won 4. The series is tied 1-1. That's as even as it gets. The Heat have not been "clearly better".

Nah.. it's been pretty even to me. Spurs seem to jump out to a lead.. the Heat close it in the 2nd.. second halfs have felt to be a lot of back and forth with no team really pulling away .. except when Lebron was clearly done late in game 1.

The good thing.. Miami has taken homecourt back. Hopefully Miami can hold serve and end this in 6. I don't buy the Spurs are better this year than last year. Same team..year older. Belinelli wont be the difference between winning and losing.
