Tony Brothers reffing tonight.... should be.... ermmm interesting.

I hate that guy. Awful ref. has been particularly bad in the playoffs

In post season since Big 3:

Straight UP:

MIA is 59-25 (70%)

With Brothers 8-4 (67%)

ATS:

With Brothers in the playoffs MIA is 4-8.

MIA is 50-33 ATS in the playoffs.

It would certainly seem there is a drop off in performance when Brothers is reffing MIA.

Big 3 are 38-7 at home in playoffs.

With Brothers they are 5-1 at home in playoffs.

Big 3 are 29-16 ATS at home, they are 1-5 ATS with Brothers at home. That 1 win ATS was vs IND this year game 4 or 5.

That is fucking weird.

...and btw, anyone who STILL blames the Spurs for the A/C going out in game one has their tinfoil hats on too tight...:laugh3:

Can you prove that?

Anyway, I am the last guy to but into the 'anything' was fixed theory, but I 98% do believe that somebody intentionally made the AC fail.

I'm still not going to say it cost the Heat the game, but it became a huge factor as to how it was played.

At WORST case, if it was a legit AC failure, the Spurs organization were bush league to not inform the Heat or the fans at the game that the problem could not be corrected, while at the same time notifying the Spurs team so they could prepare their locker rooms with the cooling fans and let the coach better plan his rotations.

All I know Spurs crushed Miami in game one and Game 2 was a toss up. So right now Spurs have the Edge. Spurs as a team is better then Miami but Miami has the best player on the court.

Spurs win in 7

GAME 3 PROPS:

LBJ U28.5 points @ -108
TD O10.5 rebounds @ -110

I really want to take over on Leonard points because he hasn't been very good so far but then again he hasn't been very good so far.

I liked unders on MIA player points but I think LBJ is going to look to distribute early at home after 2 take charge games on the road.

I expect American Airlines to be below 65 degrees but there was no prop available on that. :D

7-4 on props so far +356u, 29% ROI

It might get easier when the ball stops where Melo is. Honestly I think Melo could buy into playing D and moving the ball when he realizes that is what it takes to succeed and he is next to 3 close buddies all doing it too.

Anyone who thinks it was an accident is a blind follower. They just finished playing 41 regular season games and their playoff games in that building...for 12 years.

Yet game 1 of the NBA Finals the AC fails? In the history of ACed stadiums how many times has the AC gone out not just in the AT&T center but every NBA stadium in the league? AT&T Center is also the 7th newest building in the league.

NICE!! Hadn't seen that one before!!

Spurs ran away with the game once Lebron went out with cramps. When he left the game, Miami was up 2. Let's take Tim Duncan out for almost the entire 4th quarter and see how the Spurs do, especially on defense.

I probably dislike Tony Brothers more than Joey Crawford. This will be interesting.

1. Teams like the Heat might occasionally become a lottery team. Perhaps you need to look in your Laker mirror. It doesn't last long though. Too solid of a FO and ownership, plus Miami (IMO) is the most desirable city to play in, in the NBA.

2. Whether you consider this team a dynasty or not, this team is making a historic run. What were seeing doesn't happen very often, and chances are that once it ends it will be a hell of a long time, if ever, before it happens again.

3. James is a freakish athlete. Arguably the most unique talent to ever play the game. At some point for both Heat fans and James, it will end. Until that, we'll just enjoy the ride.

4. Don't be shocked if Carmelo is wearing a Heat jersey next season.

5. Your post was pretty lame. Hopefully you were at least drunk when making it.

Melo joining the Heat? With what cap space? The most likely scenario is your 'big 3' will re-sign with the heat. Even with them taking a discount they'll still have spent $40m+ on just three players
Is Melo going to sign for the vets minimum when he can easily get $20m a year playing for the Bulls, Celtics, or god forbid, the Lakers?

And I'M supposed to be drunk?

Basic NBA dude, do your homework :L

Miami could be up 2-0 without the cramps. Miami was up 7. The Spurs played a flawless 4th, how did they crush Miami?

I probably dislike Tony Brothers more than Joey Crawford. This will be interesting.

JC has consistent tendencies that imo make them betable but not as unfair as disliking teams.

JC refs to away dogs, regardless of dog or home team.

Brothers looks to have something against MIA in the playoffs...most likely money in an off shore sportsbook.

If Brothers fucks the heat tonight I hope the NBA pisses in Crawfords gatorade before assigning him to game 5 and then post jokes on the big screen that only Duncan finds funny.

What game did you watch? Miami had a 7 point lead in the 4th and were up 4 before lbj cramped up.

Your scenario is based on the typical mindset. No way that what you are saying happens. I never said or implied that, did I?

I have heard, which literally means nothing (but who I heard it from has been very accurate before), that all 3 of the Big 3 are possibly willing to once again sacrifice to open up the space needed to bring Anthony here.

I guess at the end of the day it is a matter of economics for all of them and weighing potential positives vs negatives.

In a month, we will all know.

I don't want Melo. I think the Heat are constructed fairly. Plenty of dynasties have been built on the foundation of 3 all-star players - I will continue to hold my stance. But if Melo joins the Heat, then it's just getting ridiculous at that point. Melo should go to Chicago, where hopefully D. Rose is finally healthy to where we can have a truly epic ECF.

If I were a Heat fan, I would not want Melo either.

Honestly, I do not think Melo would add to that team. You don't want to go 10-12 trips down the court with LeBron never touching the basketball.

"Don't be surprised if Melo ends up in a Heat uniform"

Why? And more importantly How?

I think Melo could work but wouldn't be the wisest player to chase.

Gortat would do miracles compared to Melo for that team on both ends.

Bosh has said he is willing to take a pay cut to make things work.

Wade has recently said "that's not my job" in reference to the GM stuff and taking a pay cut, sounds kind of Kobeish tbh.

LBJ's agent has said that LBJ will have 29 options in the offseason and money will not be the issue. LBJ himself has said nothing.

Maybe LBJ leaves and Melo comes in?

For the Big 3 to add talent that helps the team pay cuts are going to have to happen, either from the current Big 3 or the new players coming in (Gortat #wishful thinking) and most likely a combination.
