Dude, all bk was comparing, was how Utah lost to the Bulls two years in a row. That would be the same for the Cavs if they lose this year again. You are thinking too hard.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay to hard.

This thread is gonna be a powder keg by the time the actual games start.

Funny, because you could say the same thing about the Warriors. They are young, but curry's insane contract has allowed them to stockpile an insane amount of talent.

Curry will get paid......trust and believe that.

Shaq himself said Kobe had nothing to do with it, so you tell me...
What the saying? Time heals all wounds.

Essentially you're saying my dislike of Kobe for being a bitch by calling out Shaq was unfounded?

I can't push back on Shaq wanting more $, (who doesn't?) but you don't think Kobe's foot was nudging him out the door?

Agree he totally did.

But, that happens all the time, in every sport.

Younger guy wants his turn in the sun.

Team moves Older, but highly accomplished player, to start a new era.

Steve Young, Joe Montana is the best example.

If the greatest of all time can get moved, anyone can.

nah...

just wanted to clear the record of why Shaq left. once again had nothing to DO with Kobe...

Noted on Shaq leaving...Magic is my alltime Laker, whether it had any merit or not (I trust your thought that it didn't) I've long since gotten over my rift with Kobe anyway.

lol Magic was the man back in the day. I was in the Air Force when I remembered the playoff where he played Center because Kareem was hurt...

dude could LITERALLY play all 5 positions...

Ya know...I hated it at the time b/c I thought that team could've run off another 2 titles, but I've come full circle on Kobe sometime ago actually.

DEFINITELY believe another title run or 2 was in them IF they had still played together. and STILL know to this DAY they blew it BIG time vs. Detroit in '04...

Oh man...I'm a Laker fan because of Kareem...when he when back west from the Bucks...as a fan of the sky hook, I went with him, but we're talking finals on tape delay days now...Cap did get hurt and they traveled to PHI...and Magic closed them out playing all 5 positions...he won me over from that point forward.

when I was a kid I remember when he played against the aging Wilt Chamberlain(now i'm SERIOUSLY putting some age on myself). the year the Lakers got the record for the NBA's longest winning streak it was Kareem and the Bucks that snapped it...

was NOT happy with those guys for a while...
