Agree to disagree. Rodman with the Pistons was a better defender than either, and at 6'8", was big enough to match up with him

If Unseld is a non-scorer, what is Rodman?

As for my bench guys, Cooper can make open 3s. You can't just leave him alone. Jones had a season where he averaged 19.5 PPG. He is better than either of you bench C's.

My other 4 starters are all high end scorers who fit together and I have 3 scorers on my bench. By the way, 7 of my 10 had 20 point seasons and 9 of 10 had 18 point seasons. Besides, I won't be playing Unseld, Jones and Cooper at the same time.

He could be effective no doubt. The thing is is that Lebron is quicker than Rodman and outweighs him by 35-40 pounds. Rodman was a tough as they get no doubt, but look at Draymond Green, weighs about 230ish, 15-20 pounds less than Lebron and is arguably quicker than Rodman. He is absolutely the perfect guy to guard Lebron especially on the perimeter. Not saying Rodman cant guard him bc I absolutely think he is the right matchup to put on him but I honestly think there are other guys that are better matchups against Lebron, not many. If that makes sense lol

LeBron and Kareem say "hi"

Penny was on his way to being an all time great before injuries. 2 time first team all NBA. He had size for a point guard and a balanced offensive game. Magic's advantage over him is not nearly what it would be against other more dimunutive models.

Besides, LeBron is running my offense. He is really the point forward. Penny, Lever and Rose can be primary ball handlers, but LeBron is going to initiate the offense, just like he had done in Miami and Cleveland.

Cooper is about as much of an offensive threat as I am lol. I remember Caldwell Jones from when he was with the Sixers and he couldn't beat out Chocolate Thunder lol, certainly no stud. I like Ginobili off my bench as an all around player, Kerr as a 3 point shooter, Josh Smith as a shot blocker and Tarpley and Donaldson as big bodies

As to starters....if it's this guy vs that guy, the talent is close....but as a unit, Magic is gonna get Iceman, Baylor and Cowens the ball where they are most effective, and Rodman will be crashing the boards....Penny Hardaway isn't making anyone better....

Totally agree with this take
