STARTERS
PG Chris Paul - Penny Hardaway - Paul is a great defender will quick hands and is quicker than Penny. It hurts Penny he cant shoot and it only helps Paul can shoot from the outside and a better playmaker and facilitator.
SG Kobe Bryant - Mitch Richmond - A great defender that should have the full advantage defending Richmond and making Lebron work on offense AND defense.
SF Andre Iguodala - LeBron James - As good of a defender as we have actually seen play Lebron and he doesnt need help. Iggy will help limit Lebron without help. Huge key so Kobe doesnt have to guard the best player. Kobe will still guard him at times.
PF - Chris Webber - Caldwell Jones - while Jones has the size Webber is too skilled and mid-range is money. This is definite mismatch even without Unseld. Webber is also a great passer so this helps the offense flow.
Once Caldwell Jones entered the NBA from ABA he was a decent rebounder. 7 ppg 8 rpg, 1.3 bpg
He was average at best. Webber is too athletic for him and would outrebound him.
C Hakeem - Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - You cant get much of a better defender and all-around player to play against Kareem. Great matchup.
BENCH
PG/SG - Ron Harper - Fat Lever - A solid defender and people forget he is an underrated scorer.
SG - Tayshaun Prince - Michael Cooper - Cooper adds no offensive threat and Prince has too much length and all-around game for him.
SG/SF - Eddie Jones - Dale Ellis - very good defender to guard the 3 point specialist and Jones can score the ball as well.
SG/SF - Horant Grant - Jalen Rose - Grant was a competitor and defensive guy first but he had a good mid-range.
PF/C - Tyson Chandler - Wes Unseld - wes cant score and Tyson can help on defensive to rim protect.
The big mismatches. Paul vs Penny. Paul is too quick for Penny and a very good shooter.
Webber vs Jones, good defense but not enough for the all-around game.
*We have seen Iggy slow down Lebron 1-on-1 and if he plays under the pick-and-roll it works wonders. With Kobe not having to guard the best player it helps his offensive game out a lot. Kareem and Hakeem---great matchup.

Lets also remember Iggy has a fucking journal on Lebrons' tendencies througout his career. If there is a guy to defend him and somewhat on his athleticism level, it's Iggy.

Hey no one is denying Iggy is a very good defender on Lebron but Lebron is the King. But having Kobe and Iggy is a luxury in this matchup
