What are you hoping for, numbers wise? I was assuming we'd lose him, thinking someone would offer him Willis money.

I think it is safe to say we have the best LB group in the NFL. Patrick Willis and Bowman arguably 2 best MLBs in the leuage. Aldon Smith who has a realistic shot at getting the sack record and Ahmad Brooks who has really stepped it up and may even make the pro bowl as well.

How crazy would it be if all 4 got voted in......but we make the Super Bowl so none go hahah

Fantastic news as I thought he would be a goner for sure because he could easily go to almost any team and be the star LB.

Typically we give pretty fair deals for both sides so I would imagine the contract is pretty reasonable.

Closer to Daryl Washington money than D'Qwell Jackson/David Harris. Something like that. I'm not real optimistic, though, if nothing else, the 49ers (Paraag Marathe) always seems to do a great job of structuring extensions.
