I'm watching "on the clock" on ESPN. Mel Kiper now has come full circle and has the Rams taking Sammy Watkins.

I of course agree with Mel - 1st time ever.

Texans - Clowney hands down
Rams - stud Watkins

Then watch the OTs fly off the board like last year. ATL will not trade for Clowney. They need pass protection for that offense and Lewan or Matthews will be there. The QBs will fall.

Next week I am proposing a draft party at 141 and Manchester - Hot Shots for the 1st round.

Let me know if anyone would like to grab a few beers.

O what about the rumors of trading up for Robinson instead of clowney

Not buying anyone trading up for Robinson. He needs work on pass protection and to me that means project.

Im in STL this weekend not next sadly

Watkins will be a great pick for when the next coach and GM come in. I think he'll be a great player but not with our OC, division, QB situation, possibly limited reps, etc.

If they're taking him #2 overall, I doubt he'll get limited reps. When you're gifted a top pick like this, I feel you have to take an elite talent. It just comes down to whether the Rams consider Watkins that elite talent. I can see Mack being the pick as well.
