Zona wont let Campbell go
KC wont let Poe go
I like the Leary pick, but its too logical
Garcon and Jackson will both be gone
We will let Kirk walk and start McCoy

As for the draft, we will draft a WR in the first round. Past that, I will reserve thouhts until I see how we handle FA.

Hire Wade Phillips. Denver had the 4th ranked defense in the league and he is available.

If Poe is not available Brandon Williams could be available

Of these free agents the most likely get that is not our own will probably be Leary.

In as much as your draft, I believe that SM has an aversion to Alabama players based on his avoiding them in the last draft. I like that fella Qualls, however I would take Carlos Watkins Clemson or Demarcus Walker Florida State ahead of him.

Don't like the RB listed either but prefer one of the better known guys like Fournette LSU, Cook, Florida state, Perine Oklahoma, or Mixon Oklahoma there.

We definitely need help at safety and IMO the better ones are Hooker Ohio State, Adams LSU, Peppers Michigan and your guy.

I would not be so quick to dismiss looking at another QB if the right one falls to us at the right spot. He would necessarily already be more skilled than McCoy and Sudfield. Scouts would really have to do their homework on this selection. Right now, IMO that is a very short list of guys, Mohomes Texas Tech, Watson Clemson, Webb California that are projected to go in rounds 2-4. Watson is projected at going in rounds 1-4. There's also the unlikely possibility of signing a free agent here.

Yours is a very good early draft and heavily tilted towards defense which we need. Thanks for posting this!

He does have the size, speed and toughness that this team could use, and I wouldn't be mad if they took him. I just like the other guys a bit better for this offense. I'm really impressed with the two Oklahoma youngsters that I've noted especially Perine who reminds me of a young AP.

Connor is also a pretty decent receiver with that size

I agree, see him as the modern day Riggins type of guy which is why I believe that given the choices between a Riggins type or an AP type in todays offenses, I favor the latter, but not one iota disappointed with the former. Just a preference.

Hello Sty. I am an OU alumni. Watch their games every wk. Perine is more of a one dimensional. A good between the tackle runner. He can catch passes in the flat or screen passes but that's it. I kind of question his toughness. There were some games this yr that showed if you bring the wood Perine will go down. He is also always banged up. I like Mixon much better more versatile. He can make the intermediate pass, can also go deep and run between the tackles.

I also like Connor some similar to Perine but more versatile.

Hey there, You're right about Perine's durability, that is the one question that I have about him. I did mention Mixon as a viable pick as well. His home run abilities are very intriguing and likely become a higher draftee than Perine or Connor IMO. I did manage to catch a few OU games myself on TV.

Can't draft a RB too high or we lose out on a hell of a defensive player we desperately need
