I think I'm right there with ya. I get my shit done (and then some) and then end up picking up other shit because it's not getting done by the person who is supposed to be doing it.

Yep.

On one hand, the only reward for good work is more work. On the other, if you are lazy or incompetent, you just might get promoted. Up to a level that you can't get in the way of things getting done.

I swear, my next life better be some kind of fair, and, make much more sense that this one....
