I really hope he's starting to live up the player we all expected him to be. Great start to the season...

They showed a stat in the first inning; Mariners are batting .250 with runners in scoring position for the series while the Cubs were just under .500. That may have something to do with something...

Take last nights 3rd inning out of the equation and likely the Cubbies fall to below .250 for the series

His homer was the second longest of the season in the league so far in this young season.

Lots to be happy for, but... remember they are only starting him against right handed pitchers for now.

I hope they keep limiting his appearances against lefties for now. Let him keep building confidence.

Yah I dunno meg... he's always done fantastic in triple A ball (and pretty good in spring training) but for some reason he's just never figured out the majors...

This is what I said about him back in spring training2020, and I stand by it. I haven't posted on here much in the past 3 years, so it was quick to find.

Kelenic is an impressive-looking kid. He looks like an athlete and MLB player. Not saying he will be, but he sure looks solid.

I'd add that that was back when almost none of our prospects were looking like athletes for the better part of a decade.

A few nice points to take from this one:

1. Being able to crack Stroman's ERA.
2. Seeing someone else give up an early lead for a change.
3. Kelenic's dinger...482 ft?!

Kelenic coming around can be a HUGE boost to the M’s going forward!
