One thing about this season i like for the region is that newer fans (most of Mariners social media) got a taste of what it feels like to hold a significant division lead.

That's the first time for anybody who wasn't a fan in the early 2000s or earlier, right?

Our fanbase needs to impose higher expectations on ownership because I feel like we deserve that more than once every couple decades. Maybe this will accelerate that.

Just saw Jessie Wanker DH’ing for the Nats

His .260 avg would make him our second best hitter inserted into tonight’s lineup ( behind Julio )

That’s how pathetic our anemic offense is right right now

Well, I guess as a team they’re really good at something

That has to just make for an absolutely miserable experience at the ballpark watching that many Mariners walk up to the dish to just turn around and walk back to the dugout a handful of pitches later with the bat in their hands

The opposing team probably doesn’t really like it that much because their pitchers have to work so hard throwing so many pitches to get outs. We never put balls in play for put outs at a base.
