What's even more sad is as a fanbase we've pretty much come to expect it. I'm not going to find my post where I basically said about 1-2 months ago we'd blow it in the second half and lose our lead... but it's out there somewhere.

This shouldn't be any surprise.. the Ms never warm up after the All Star break, teams adjust, we don't... and that's the end of that. We'd still have the longest playoff drought in US major sports I believe, if the league didn't expand to include the 'wild card' game.

Sports radio should be getting lit up everyday ripping this organization a new asshole.

This is how it was with the Seahawks last year... All the players were joking and just chilling with smiles on the sideline. It was no surprise Pete got fired and I'm glad Allen had the balls (or clit) to do it... it's clear there's been no direction for years with the Mariners.

If there is a silver lining with Julio’s injury it’s that he can’t keep swinging out of his shoes in the three spot. Since Servais refuses to move him down in the order and keep him there this will force him to rest. Not going to miss his bat in the lineup.
