No it doesn't look like it. Just as well I guess based on the result tonight. Yet another blown save. I'm so sick of this team being unable to hold leads.

Puzzling to me why we would DFA this guy. Not dominant or anything, but seems like a smart pitcher with some value in a Jamie Moyer mold.

I agree, 8. There are some guys he should be ahead of in the bullpen. And he is the only guy in the pen that can offer long relief. I don't think they are waving the white flag by any means, but I do think waiving him is a mistake.

And while we are on the subject of the bullpen, Servais and Stottlemeyer seem enamored with Caminero and his triple digit fastball, but the guy has kinda sucked his last few times out. He's been scored on in three of his last 6 appearances. Not really the kind of track record you want for guy who is part of the bullpen rotation that pitches to hold leads.
