Didn't say there was... But if you think all eras are treated equally you would be wrong.. Also, position matters...

Tunnel may be top 5... but no way is he top 3... and there is a big leap between 3 and 4 for the giants...

Tunnell is second all time INT;s, a nine time pro bowler a 4 time All Pro. The first great Giant.

I have him on my Giants MR.

that depends on how many players make it onto the mount rushmore… if it is only 3.. .he is not on it... if it is 5... he probably just makes it...

Assumed we all know there are four busts on a Mount Rushmore.

The NFL's second all time INT man left off their Mount Rushmore, ????

Again, he doesn't get it over LT, Strahan and Eli

the 4th to 8 are all so super close IMO

With Gifford, Tunnell, Hein, and Rosey Brown...

Where all 4 of those players played Pre superbowl era...

If you want to give Tunnel it because he meant more than just his football numbers, then fine... Wont argue against it...

Pro bowls and All pros is what ya look at, that tells us how these guys were perceived in their day.

Gifford gets more attntion than Tunnell, he had 8 pro bowls, Tunnell 9, both having 4 All Pros, yes Tunnell on the same level.

You can't ignore IMPACT, no Giant ever made a bigger IMPACT than Lawrence Taylor, then it's Emlen Tunnell.

Huge Roger Craig fan loved his style, but.....

His stats just don;t compare to Joe Perry. Perry having more yards, more TD;s, better average.

As an old time Falcon fan, I would look at Jeff Van Note or Tommy Nobis over Roddy White.

I always wondered just how many sacks did Deacon Jones have. Back then he was THE passer rusher, what a lot of people don't know is he was a sprinter in college, guessing he had to have been lighter, not sure what times he ran.

On an All Time NFL team he'd have to be on that D.

South Carolina State,yep, HBCU power.
