Which was funny, because he had been retired for 3 years and his buddies convinced him that he should give it a try.

The opponents respected him so much on punt return, they followed Deion over the actual return man. The guy returned it for a TD since 5 or 6 guys were focused on Deion.
During his only season with the Skins. Deion's biggest play was a 57 yard punt ret in OT against Tampa Bay that set up the game winning FG for the Skins. First time I can remember him being caught from behind after he broke out into open field.

He also had 4 INTs, a FF and a couple fum rec for the Skins that year.

They didn't exist as a franchise from 96-98 and had to start over, while the Ravens went on to win a Super Bowl.

Not making excuses for them, because they've been one of the worst run franchises since they got back. But they weren't dealt a great hand to begin with.
I saw a doc about that from NFL Films I believe. Modell basically pulled the rug from out under Belichick and the Browns with that move to Baltimore. That Browns team looked to be set to compete for a title and they were blindsided by Modell. One of the moves that truly hurt the Browns was instead of Ozzie becoming a GM for the Browns. He became a GM for the Ravens.

My dad has been a Browns fan since even before Modell owned the team. And he's always said that he wanted to piss on Modell's grave. But I've challenged him on it for about 10 years and he says they won't let him bring weed on the plane and doesn't want to make the drive.

tip of the cap towards Dad.

Dr. Frank Ryan, Paul Warfield, Gary Collins, Leeroy and and the great Jimmy Brown dusted my Cowboys often.

He has always said Staubach was the toughest QB that he's seen to this day.

Here are a couple I don't think were mentioned.

OJ Simpson (49ers)
Deacon Jones (Chargers)
