All right, Le Mans up next, Rossi has been strong there. But things are different now, I'm looking forward to see what Lorenzo & Marquez have for each other now that the gloves are semi off. I mean, Jorge didn't even talk about it in the post race presser. Just blew it off. I'll bet behind closed doors he's ready to show the rookie a thing or two.

Marc Marquez only needs to score 62 points over the last four races, and he will become the first rookie rider to win the premier class World Championship since Kenny Roberts in 1978. Impressive

Good to have you back.

I hate to admit it, but I've not been following the series at all since about the 4th round - & I said at the beginning of the year that I would! I didn't even make it to the Indy GP, because I got confused as to which weekend it was & made work commitments that I couldn't back out of.

Indy making some changes in the track & laying down a new surface..... Will F1 also use this configuration?

F1 hasn't been there since '07, & isn't coming back. Next year, IndyCar will have a early May road course race to kick off the build up to the 500. I believe that they are still hashing out the final configuration of that track, but I did see an in-car camera clip from the test sessions that makes it look like they will use all of Turn Two before joining the infield part of the track.

An interesting race today, to say the least. Marquez looking to clinch the title, but the team makes a bit of a mistake, pitting after completing lap 11 when the pre-race rules change said you cannot run more than 10 laps without changing tires/bikes...but he gets DQ'd from the race. I think he'll still win the title, but it actually gives Lorenzo a chance now. A pretty harsh penalty though for the infraction.

It's the last race of the year & it's gonna be a good one. Marquez only needs to finish 4th or better to be the youngest champion ever, knocking American Kenny "The King" Roberts from the perch he has held onto for so long. The are reports that there will be no "team rules" in the Honda pits, so it will be fun to see if Padrosa will get out of Marc's way & block for him if necessary.
