I "played" one once as a kid. You spend a minute or two setting up the formations, and then they go berserk into a corner or something. I preferred Super Chexx.

I had one too and as a parent myself now I'm like, did they just buy any old crap that obviously wasn't going to work and say here son Happy Birthday!

I won't miss all the touchbacks on kickoffs. The onside kick was a no/low skill play. I won't miss that either.

I've said this for quite a while now but the best solution is to make all kickoffs a 4th &15 proposition at the 25 yard line. Teams can go for it or they can punt. Punts are better than kickoffs. Obviously there would be the opportunity to fool the defense so conversion rates would be even higher. That would probably annoy some of you even more.
