You're right, my bad.

Teach me to get a trivia question off twitter
I seen it came from MLB Now and they usually have great questions. It came up on their Twitter but I couldn't see the replies and I don't tweet

Told me the answer was Mays, Mantle, Colavito

Mantle and Colavito never did it.

I'll see myself out now lol
The answer I got was DiMaggio in 1937 (post-integration?), Johnny Bench in 1975 and Jim Thome in 2002. Bench hit one triple in '75 (and 28 homers) and Thome hit two triples in '02. No mention of Mays

Kyle Schwarber is on a roll, reaching base in 35 consecutive games

He's only 49 short of the record LOL

Who has the all time record for reaching base in 84 consecutive games?

I was just looking something up and found a good trivia Question...

Of the top 25 all time in BABIP with a minimum of 3000 AB,

who has the lowest Batting Average??

Question with same answer

Of the top 10 all time in BABIP with a minimum of 3000 AB,

who is the only player who started his career after 1980??

Has to be a 3-true-outcome player…

Albert Belle? I don’t think his BABIP is top 10 all time, though, but maybe…

Incorrect logic. Player just has to strike out a lot. Lots of home runs would help your batting average.

also I will give a hint. I created this trivia question because I was shocked by the answer. And how random he is.

HRs don’t affect BABIP, though. HRs are not “in play”.

You are looking at a low BA player with an all time elite BABIP who debuted post 1980. I would think someone like Kingman, Deer or Belle, but you already said my player profile is wrong, so…

Brady Anderson?

Are any Rockies in the top 25? Do some in the top 25 correlate with park factors? My first thought was Charlie Blackmon. He might be a better guess for the top 10 since 1980 than the lowest BA question.

You missed it. For the player to have the highest babip but lowest BA, lots of home runs would still be hits. So it would help their Batting average not hurt it.

The profile would be lots of strike outs and not too many home runs. Not saying they didn’t hit home runs. Just not considered a home run hitter.

I missed what the answer was to the 3 players to hit 45 hrs and 10 triples in a season? Did Ohtani do it last year?
