Actually I got the question from a quiz I took that had the leaders of all the teams for that decade. Some were obvious but other ones were kind of tough.

Hint: The other guy who was team leader for 2 teams in the 90's was not Rickey, but he played on two teams with Rickey. (at least I think he did, I can't remember all the guys who played with Rickey, and neither can Rickey)

I wouldn’t have thought him for either the Mutts nor the Jays. I thought MAYBE Robby or McGriff or Cart for the Jays and probably Piazza for the Mutts.
