2. Jim Kaat?
Excellent guess. 25 year career for this guy with over 2400 career strikeouts. Struck out 200+ in 1966 and 1967. But, no, it isn't him. He's prolly in the top 10 thought.

Another fine choice but Carlos is not the guy. He hit. 225 in his second, and last, 100+ RBI season. That was .007 better than Tony Armas. But, the guy we are looking for actually beat out Armas, as I said previously.

Tom Glavine no. 2
Clemente (#1) and Glavine (#2) are correct.

Kyle Schwarber (#3) is also correct. He tallied 104 RBI while batting a lusty .197 in 2023, thus usurping the previous 'record' holder. That gentleman was none other than another famous Kyle, as in Kyle Seager who hit a lofty .212 while driving in 101 runs for the Mariners in 2021.

Other guesses
#1
Lonnie Smith hit safely in 20 of the 29 World Series games he started. His longest WS hitting streak was 8 games.

#2
Glavine is the winner 2607 career K. His highest single-season total was 192. He just beat out...
...Warren Spahn 2583 career K. His highest single-season total was 191
Jamie Moyer. 2441 career K. His highest single-season total was 158
Cy Young 2803 career K but posted two 200K seasons late in his career with the Red Sox.
Jim Kaat 2461 K. Posted two 200K seasons early in his career with the Twins.

#3
Mark Reynolds. Hit .260 in his only 100+ RBI season.
Carlos Pena. Hit .225 in his second and last 100+ RBI season.
Mark McGuire. Lowest BA of his 7 100 RBI seasons was .235
Albert Pujols. Lowest BA of his 14 100 RBI seasons was .241

Dang. Being a Braves fan, I should have guessed Glavine. For some reason, I thought he got at least 200 Ks in at least one season. Maybe I was thinking of Maddux. If he would have gotten 5 less Ks in 1998, he would have been the correct answer.
