Who the hell is Urban Shocker.....lol
Some old time pitcher with a strange name that I happened to remember. This question is really not in my wheelhouse because my knowledge of players before Sandy Koufax is limited mostly to the very well known and other random names I heard in other trivia questions. Now if it was a guy who played between 1975 and present day they could be completely obscure and I'd at least have a chance to guess it.

Urban Shocker pitched for the Yankees in the 1910s and 20s and did a nice job. He died very young (age 37). No he isn't the answer.
The guy that held the record did so for 61 years.

While we're figuring that one out, who has the most career home runs for a player with a lifetime batting average under .200?

I know Joey Gallo has a batting average under .200 and has almost 200 homers.

Here is a hint for my question. The pitcher had a lifetime record of 170-177 and a career ERA of 3.01. He pitched for 4 teams from 1898-1909.

And threw 35 innings in the lone World Series he pitched in.

Never heard of him before this.

I got this from a baseball calendar. That's why I get the calendars every year.
Bill Dineen was a guy that could have been a very good pitcher if he'd have played in a different market.

Faced 1500 batters once. Nobody has done that in 50 years.

Bill Dineen.

Wouldn’t have been able to name a position. Or even what sport he played before your question.

Hope I don’t forget his name, now that I know it. Lol
