In this poll Seahawks, for me the 07 SB, Pats 18-0 14 points fav and then the Tyre helmet catch to setup a TD

A little harder tug on Eli's jersey and that play never happens. :bawling:

Carroll was going to run Lynch 3 of 4 plays that series. He had to throw once because of time and 1 TO left.

Please, stop pretending that throwing on 2nd down instead of 3rd somehow makes it THE WORST CALL EVER.

In fact, it's better to throw on 2nd than 3rd so the Defense is still guessing what's coming on 3rd.

You people exasperate me.

I'm fine with that. Still throwing in the middle of a pack of players is a little dicey. One finger tipping it the wrong way and who knows what happens. If you're going to throw it make sure it's where only your player can get to it.

The Titans coming up 1 yard short with the last play of the game.

I totally agree. I think it was the right decision to throw on 2nd down. But the play call was terrible. I think it would have been better to roll out RW with a run/pass option. If neither is there, throw it into row 50.

It's not like Norwood's FG was a guarantee. It was a 47 yarder that sailed wide right.

Titans 1 yard short to me was pretty iconic. It was the final play and SO CLOSE. Just... man.

Not guaranteed Seattle gets it in even on the 1 yard line. Lynch was 1/5 on goal line 1 yard runs during the season. It was a little like the SF Super Bowl end. Close but it was a good goal line stand which we see in the NFL all the time (even at the 1 yard line at times).

But to be ONE yard short on the FINAL play where it was a stretch out. Man. I know they were both 1 yard short, but it's one thing to be setting up with huddle/timeouts and you need 1 yard, vs. an actual play ending up 1 yard short to keep your hopes alive.

Patriots have stopped teams (Colts) 4 straight times on the 1 yard line, so it would have been possible but imo NOT the way Lynch was running against the Pats D. You are correct it wasn't a"given" but it was pretty close.
