From what I heard on the radio, we survived a horrible 2nd and got fucked in the ass at the end when Elias got speared in the nuts and Clarkson got put in a standing rear naked choke which resulted in Clarkson getting tossed from the game and Elias getting 2 minors

Listened to the game on the radio while at work. Sounded like we got outplayed the entire time outside of the first period and got lucky to get a point today.

Team seems to be in a little funk the past week and a half. When they play their game, they are tough to beat (2nd and 3rd periods of the Philly game). When they go through the motions, they get beat or lose in overtime.

Was surprised to see a sell out today considering most people still have to work. Personally I don't get any actual holidays off consistently (911 dispatch life). Anyway, looked like another rough one. Team scores early again which is nice but that level of play didn't continue. Interesting after a week of beating the top teams, they are now struggling with the mid and lower level teams. At any rate, can't afford to let this stretch get in their heads. Time to get back on track fellas!!

Missed the 3rd period as I had a chiropractor appointment after work and my shift ended after the 2nd. I may have to watch a replay of the 3rd on gamecenter, but it will probably just piss me off from the sound of things. Gotta get back on track and beat the Caps twice. 3 points minimum in those 2.

i think this was one of those "free" games that season ticket holders got as a perk for the lockout. i think if the season was a full 82 it wouldnt have been a sellout. something like this the devils could/should do and invite schools and fill it with kids

Actually, now that I think about it, I think I got 2 extra tickets for the Columbus Day game when I was a season ticket holder last year so it might've been something like that. Smart, that many more concessions/parking spaces they sell.

Did you Elias' shot?... that 6'8 goaltender didn't flinch... he could've took a dump without being disturb... man what a waste of an opportunity, totally failed...

Butler missed the 5 hole as did Kovy....

since we haven't seen much shootouts from our end this year(IIRC) we're a bit shaky without Parise(can't complain i guess, first "hole" i've encounter due to his departure)...

Like to see Butler have his chance and more, if opportunity present itself. I wonder if Zids is an ok penalty shot guy?
