He might be a 1st round pick. But he shouldn't be a top 20 pick unless some one is forcing the pick out of need for a D-lineman and a bit of panic. Its been pushed for months that this draft is deep in defensive talent at every level and position. I get it alot of people are against taking a RB early in the draft... especially at 17.

But it might come down to that being the BPA and we do have a need at the position.

Ya know where else this draft is really deep? :bounce:

Skins could have 7 new starters on defense

McGee
McClain
Galette
Brown
Swearinger
Cravens
A nose tackle somewhere in the 1st three rounds
Reddick or Foster @MLB would make 8.

We may not agree with all the signings, (McGee&McClain) but Bruce and co. have made an honest effort to fix the D ahead of the draft. I don't think they would be out of line to go ahead and draft a dynamic back if there and spend 3 or 4 more picks on the D.

Redskins have 10 picks I would atleast try to draft 6 defensive players if I could without reaching for a player

I think I would favor Kiper's draft over McShay's all orange jump suit draft. :laugh3:

I see Swearinger and Brown as upgrades, McGeen and McClain as slight downgrades. That's all I got, not nearly enough to make a big difference. But of course Galette returning to form (I still believe in him) could change that.

And if the Skins believe in Galette, maybe the key thing for our new DCoordinator is to figure out what to do with Preston Smith. Bulk him up more and put him permanently at DE? He's played there some and has a big frame. His decision-making has been poor at OLB. I wouldn't count out the possiblity that the Skins draft a speed rushing OLBer.

You would have a better shot at getting a Rabbi and a Muslim Cleric to enjoy an all you can eat pork rib BBQ, than have GK be ok with ANY draft that involves us taking a RB in the first round ever.

Kidding for the most part. First three rounds, I would be fine, just wanting a bit more in my head.

Not a fan of the Harris pick. He is small, slow, and had zero competition. Fine as a 6th or 7th but no way in the 4th.

Brian Allen is a decent pick. He is still learning but you can't teach size and speed.

I like Robert Davis...may be there later.

Don't like Tom.

Like the Stevie pick.

Bower and Jones are OK

I'm going to criticize since the title was VERY misleading :D

1) Cook - Described as an every down back. Lots of unanswered questions about the RB
on our current roster, and other needs to address.
2) Brantley - Described as someone who was able to play across the line and despite the low
production, was very disruptive, opening up plays for teammates. Good pick
3) Coming back from a broken arm, and doesn't excel in open space. Another SS?
4-7(I'm not too familiar with all these guys, you only listed names)
The NT you have listed may have a chance to provide what we've been looking for against the run.

I was expecting this amazing read, and it looks like you hit in in the 1st, 2nd and 7th.

Not bad. I think you are the first to draft a kicker.
