if you pick Mariota 2nd but he goes 10th that would be -8
if you pick Mariota 10th but he goes 2nd that would be -8

if you pick someone who was not picked in the first round then he gets #picked - (32+ round picked)
so lets say i think Melvin Gordon Goes in the first round and pick him at 28th but he goes in the 2nd round then he would be 28-32-2=-6

if you pick someone correctly at the correct spot then that is +3

still keeping it easy...

Just seems there is too much negative... The way some guys fall you could pick someone 14th and they could go 4th in the 2nd round that's -22 you would need to predict 8 correct picks just to make up for that one missed pick. Maybe the picks should hold a different value instead of being all valued the same.

EX... Picks 1-5 are worth 3 pts 6-10 5 pts 11-15 5 pts 16-20 7 pts 21-25 9 pts 26-32 11pts... something like that...

i think i got on his bad side during the rookie draft... I think i got on everyone's bad side during that... and i still want to understand other peoples rankings.... But whatever, if it comes out as bitching then so be it...

Why the 2? It's the 4th pick of round 2 it should be 4... Makes more sense than simply making every non first round pick a 2... The penalty is the same no matter where the player is picked in round 2?

You didn't get "on my bad side" I don't even know you. UK and I explained over and over our opinions and they just weren't the same as yours so you pretended to not understand. Not to mention you tore my 4 - 7 saying that's why you voted for whoever I was playing yet I showed that my 4 - 7 was almost identical to theirs, so then you went in a different direction, i'm not upset about it and I don't hold grudges, UK and I have fought many times but he's still one of the most knowledgeable and cool people on the Hoop. I guess I just don't like when people try to pass of their opinion as fact while trying to tell other people their opinions are wrong...

Who cares about rankings? I got the highest rank and got knocked out in first round. You won the last draft so obviously your doing something correct.
