Baseball is next, just throwing out an idea.

The MLB No Player Draft

You cannot draft any player who had

300+ Home Runs
2,000+ Hits
150+ Wins
150+ Saves

Player cannot have played a game after 2009.

The numbers I used can be changed, it's the idea i'm wondering if y'all like.

Not a fan of this idea, i would rather do UKs Prime idea, which i feel like this is doing anyway....

How about a Birthday MONTH draft... 2 per month...

I don't understand whats not to like? I was trying to think of a draft where everyone doesn't just have a loaded team.

I think a draft with a few WC's(makes it fun) and the ability to steal a player from team you beat would be fun.

I don't think any player ever had 300+ HRs, 2,000+ hits, 150+ wins, and 150+ saves. That would be quite the career!

The Bambino could have done it.

What about a draft with no MVP or Cy Young winners?(old time pitchers won MVP's)

If you wanted to spice it up, you could add a clause that allows you 3 WC MVP/CY players.....with the provision that for every WC you pick, you have to at some point pick a non HOF, non All Star player for the same UNIT......TO START
Example.....I decide I want to take CY Randy Johnson as a starting pitcher....one of my other starting pitchers would have to have never been picked been for an All Star game
If I want MVP Barry Bonds as an OF.....one of my other two starters could not have been an All Star

Same thing for IF/DH and for Bullpen. You can't put a non All Star on the bench as a trade, has to be position grouping. Catcher goes with IF

You could trade for more WC's.....but same rules apply

I like it but will everyone understand it, I might like it more without the WC's. What does everyone else think?

I like it both ways, I think the WC adds strategy. I think it's possible some would not use WC's, some would trade them, some would hoard them. What if you used 3 WC's on your lineup.....you'd have an awesome top 3, perhaps top 6, but you'd have to have a bottom 3 guys hitting that never even made an all star game....

Ya know a baseball draft that we did that I really liked was the 27-57-87 draft that UK won.

We wouldn't have to do the same years, we could go like 34-64-94.

Just throwing more ideas out there.

I am deciding between Paul Kariya and John Leclair for my Last WC pick... I am actually torn, I think kariya is better, but I think Crosby needs big bodies, and think leclair fits better in a Crosby line... But dont know if I need the big bodies with Chara and Pronger anchoring my first 2 defensive lines...
