Brees Watch:

7 Drives: 20/32 for 275 Yards - 30 yards to break the record!

Go Brees! - C'mon Atlanta!

Roddy White is gonna become Ryan's number 2 if he keeps dropping passes.

I'll probably have to wear an adult diaper if we play the Saints in the playoffs......I'll be pissin my pants every time Brees drops back.

It will be a real test of our defense, with the level he is playing at right now. Will be very interesting to see how we attack Brees...if we meet up. Four man rush? Blitzing? I'd say look at the Rams game and come after him hard.

Interesting comparison with Indy...but the Saints are a lot better I think...especially their O line.

I thought Roddy White was gonna get cut in half on that hit. Yikes.

Sacks count against rushing yards, if memory serves me.

Actually, '71 they do go against [gross] passing yards. You will sometimes see passing stats listing as "passing yards" and then as "net passing yards", which are passing yards minus sack yardage.

However, true statisticians ignore "net passing yards" due to the fact that "net passing yards" have no denominator.

i'm surprise there are no flags on those "defensiveless" hits.... i mean, there are not hits I would call for flags but surprised they're not being tossed out.

must be a saints thing or since they are hits to the lower half of the body.

Wow....I forgot the Saints lost to the Bucs and Lambs. All three losses on the road. Two of three outdoors.

Okay....let me try again. Do they count against rushing yards in college? For some reason, I'm certain I've heard that somewhere before. Maybe I'm just high.

Thanks MW'

It's a good thing the Saints are winning, I was getting ready to burn Calamity at the stake for being a gypsy witch.

That sounds familiar '71 - I think you might be right about that...

Is Payton off crutches now? If so, he seemed to heal pretty quickly or was that the back of another coach? I thought he broke bones and tore ligaments?

Good God, the Falcons must have borrowed Harbaugh's playbook for this game - Note to Mike Smith FG's will NOT beat the Saints!!
