has anyone else noticed how for the 3rd year in a row the Rangers are virtually ignored when they're showing the teams? even the A's & Angels are getting more play time

No biggie. It even took the Cowboys a few years to become America's team.

Nothing new there. Texas will get some play time if they make it to the WS and they don't have any other choice. All I've seen is Josh's homers in Baltimore.

not expecting them to be the focus but i do expect that the 2-time AL champs that also have the best record this year to get some coverage in the leadup ads to playoffs

Scotty ... it's about promoting the post season games to the big markets on the west and east coast. They want people to tune in. Advertising revenue.

They aren't going to promote the 2time AL champs because all that does is scare off viewers in the loser markets. Right now they are trying to hype all the races.
