Now we know Mariners won't spend 20mil on a player
It's embarrassingHe wouldn't accept their half price deal...but they tried.
It's interesting he doesn't want to go to a larger market. Philly is a big market but not like NYC/LA/ChicagoInteresting. I wonder if M's got an invite. Mets and Yankees met with him on the same day.
Think it’s been basically confirmed it’s only west coast teams cause in order what everyone is saying is Dodgers, Padres, Mariners then the GiantsIt's interesting he doesn't want to go to a larger market. Philly is a big market but not like NYC/LA/Chicago
But he met with both NY teams which is odd and confusing. Neither are small nor west coast.Think it’s been basically confirmed it’s only west coast teams cause in order what everyone is saying is Dodgers, Padres, Mariners then the Giants
I guess. But I think the agent saying he wants a smaller market is garbage since he was really saying he wants nice media to kiss his ass like Seattle did with Ichiro. Which is weird then why Seattle isn’t his first choice. But he met with both NY teams which is odd and confusing. Neither are small nor west coast.
Not a big market city which takes out LA and SF. Seattle and SD would be an ideal fit with maybe Arizona in the mix.Think it’s been basically confirmed it’s only west coast teams cause in order what everyone is saying is Dodgers, Padres, Mariners then the Giants
Shit thing is could have had Walker for half the price of AlonsoSo Chicago already moved on from Castillo and now Boston has too.
Now the only FA’s out there are Bregman, Alonso, Sasaki then a bunch of crap worse than Rojas and Polanco
At this point, Sasaki will only help if he can hit .275 and play an infield position on his off days. Not a big market city which takes out LA and SF. Seattle and SD would be an ideal fit with maybe Arizona in the mix.
Could be agent just checking off the boxes for future contractBut he met with both NY teams which is odd and confusing. Neither are small nor west coast.
