I’m really wondering what the Phillies are smoking. They are pretending he is a star. I’m not going to pretend to know anything about him but he was treated like Mitch Garver was by the Mariners at the end of the year. Divish was saying Hancock for Bohm straight up would be a fair deal going into the offseason but man that is so far off of what they are asking for.
I think he is worth more than Hancock. Heck, I may be worth more than Hancock. It seems like everybody throws Santos in on their deals. I think he is worth more to us than in a trade.I’m really wondering what the Phillies are smoking. They are pretending he is a star. Crap offer Hancock and Santos and if they say no then block that GM’s number.
I think the Castillo thing is dead. The only seemingly option now is if the Mariners sell massively low on him. Which IMO him for Bohm would be.I think he is worth more than Hancock. But regarding Bohm, better than Rajos but probably not a huge upgrade in T-Mobile. If they want to sell low, jump on it. If they want what is rumored, move on.
I really think the Castillo wanters is growing thin. Cubs seemed to have moved on. Orioles signed the old Japanese pitcher. Mets? What do they have we want? I can't even remember the 4th team.

I am all for it. We would have to toss in a prospect. Throw in Locklear as a sweetener. But heard a crazy idea that would free up some cash is that the A’s have to raise their payroll to basically the amount of Haniger’s contract so they don’t get grievance from the MLBPA. Just wondering if they’d be nice guys and take Haniger thus freeing up some money for the M’s. They need more money that they can at least tell us they made a competitive offer to Bregman and Walker.
I thought about it and was thinking Canzone or a Saucedo. Someone who has MLB experience but is on the 40 man and provides nothing to the team. It also gives the A’s a little bit of cover since they would be getting a cheap MLB playerI agree.

Throw in all 3. I would be fine with that if it meant Haniger's contract was gone.I thought about it and was thinking Canzone or a Saucedo.
