But only non-winners like Mariners want prospects so which have MLB bats we need? Marlins? A's? Wait, they are adding payroll. White Sox? I like your positive thought, but I don't know who is left to deal with. Freaking Jerry. It is nuts that there have been so many signings. Now that I think about it this actually may benefit the Mariners. If rotations are full maybe the Mariners can trade from their farm system
He would be the perfect Mariner, especially for how the organization is set. There really isn’t a 3B option. Williamson is an interesting prospect but I don’t think he is going to be ready until 2026 at the earliest and then that’s another wasted year.

I know a lot people are projecting Emerson to move to 3B but from what I saw I don’t like it at all. Maybe he could make the transition like Seager but man I am just not a fan of moving a young player/prospect positions. But Julio also completely dispels my argument.
I have no idea but I wonder if Julio played CF when he was younger. When he actually got into the Mariners system he had the best CF prospect in baseball.I think it is easier to change from corner outfield to center than changing infield positions.
I really liked Williamson, but he is a year away.
I am not in on Bregman. Not worth the money for an aging infielder coming to the Grand Canyon from kids park.
