My issue with Giambi is saying he couldn't play in a game in the 03 World Series then coming off the bench and hitting a homer. He was pretty underrated as a Yankee though as a whole actually, don't know why people consider him a bust.
When I was in junior high 8th grade I think I wanted to pitch both left handed and right handed in the same game but for some reason which I don't remember they wouldn't let me.
Round 1
Johnny vs Clayton = Winner is
Nos vs Nava = Winner is
500 vs Ritz = Winner is
Smitty vs UK = Winner is
As far as I know, you can't switch during an ab. But you can hitter, to hitter. Now that could be different state to state, or I could be wrong altogether. Can you imagine what kind of numbers a guy could put up if he pitched from both sides!?! I have a hard time catching a ball with my right hand. I can play catch throwing lefthanded, but I have to go all Jim Abbott and put the glove on my left hand too.

Thoughts everyone on voting?
lolzzzz you are a dick!
I remember talking to my coach about it and he said I couldn't im not sure I ever got a reason. It was Minnesota what the hell did they know!
I just look at head to head by positions then score it that way. The most points wins. Catcher vs catcher, 1st base vs 1st base, and at the end I look at whose left and do bench vs bench for a point. That's just how I do my voting on matchups.
I grew up with an autographed poster of Jim on my wall. (Larkin was a homer pick too. Had to stop myself from taking Sabo.). No disrespect was intended. (He hit a homer in high school. That was also mentioned by one of my kids

I was thinking about taking Appier. He was a great pitcher for a while, look at his 90-97 stats. Arguably the best pitcher not named "Greg Maddux" or "Roger Clemens" during that stretch), but I needed another lefty. And Langston himself was a pretty darn good pitcher.
I thought he was actually dying at one while he was in PinStripes. Turns out the withdrawal from Roids is quite the bidge. Not sure what the circumstances were (keep in mind, I notmally loathe The Yankees)with his pinch hit homer. Was he hurt? Or suspended? I don't remember that.( But my third baseman has a ring from '03. )
