I was going to do batting order and maybe a small paragraph explaining the team's overall strategy and justification

I wouldnt mind that but not everyone will do the paragraph...

I think we don't need a playoff thread. Everyone can just look at the teams from Team Thread and then decide who would win. I already got the 3 winners. Wow this is very tough to decide between who would win in a series.

You dont think we should bring in outside voters?

Tim Raines has 808 Steals all time and has the highest stolen base percentage of all time by players with more than 300 steals.

Alexander is 4th All Time in WAR for pitchers and Kid Nichols is 5th All Time in WAR for pitchers.

I figure everyone else is self explanatory. Imo, I have the 2nd best player of all time, a top 10 player in Musial, the best SS of all time and the best 3B of all time.

Bench:
2B/C/Pinch Runner - Craig Biggio
1B/DH - Eddie Murray
SS - Alan Trammell
3B - Scott Rolen
OF/1B - Lance Berkman
C - Yadier Molina

I really like my lineup. I was ecstatic when I noticed Bonds was still available. Was also happy to get guys like Speaker, Ott, Collins and Vaughan. I was shocked to see Dick Allen was still avaible when I picked him. I'd make Allen my DH, but he has a little more versatility than Heilmann. You'd think someone would have picked him as their DH. My rotation could have been better, but some of the guys I got (Vance and Waddell, and Schilling to a lesser extent) were still very dominant pitchers.

Sure. He did everything. I might be slighting Wagner in my lineup but I wanted to have some talent at the end, too

I'd probably go with Bonds at #2, but I feel like him, Cobb, Mays and maybe Aaron are interchangeable.

I couldn't believe the real home run leader (Henry Aaron) fell to me at #7.

I wrote Henry because I wanted Nos to feel loved.

For my first MLB mock draft I LOVE my team its solid all the way through this from my unbiased thoughts

Williams or Gehrig would be #2 IMO.

Sporting News and ESPN has Mays at #2.

Baseball Reference has him #4 but also has Wagner at #6 and Musial at #7. Baseball Reference also has Pete Alexander at #2 and Kid Nichols at #8 in pitching. I'll gladly use them as a reference.

I'd put Cobb/Bonds/Mays/Aaron ahead. Williams was definitely on their level (if not better), but he had a considerably shorter career than each of them.

And Mantle, Aaron, Mays and others have admitted to using amphetamines. Gaylord Perry threw an illegal pitch. And so on.

But the stuff used by bonds and from his era to now I feel give him a unfair advantage. I don't believe Aaron ever used steroids or the stuff he used never gave him a competitive edge or his opponents. We will never know it's all how you view it and everyone has their own opinion on who cheated and who should be ranked #1. No one is wrong on their opinions only Nos every time he posts.

Amphetamines are right on par with steroids IMO. All PEDs.(Coke also, but not Pepsi.) But PEDs won't be hurting any player, or any team when it comes to my vote. It's baseball, if you aren't cheating, you aren't trying. (I tried to slip closers in as set up guys(a couple guys were successful with this IMO) and I don't feel bad about it one bit.
