Did Colin make any predictions about the Spurs or LA Kings?

The Spurs had won like 20 in a row, and now have lost 4 straight to the Thunder.

And the Kings, who were 16-2 in the NHL playoffs, just lost Game 4 to the Devils, 3-1.

Very nice site dedicated to publishing minor league stats. Will probably become my goto site for tracking Giants' minor leaguers.

Yep. Best I've seen for it's detailed minor league stats.

If you're talking about baseball-reference.com, I agree. Detailed stats about draft, all minor league performance, etc. But I really like the fact that minorleaguecentral mixes all of the levels together - it's very easy to "window shop".

Bullpen thoughts:

Current configuration--
Casilla -- CL
Romo -- 8th inning
Affeldt/Hensley -- 7th inning
Lopez - LOOGY
Loux/Edlefsen -- Good G-d, it's a blowout

Runzler just started his rehab stint in San Jose, so if all goes well he should be back in two weeks. When back, Loux is gone. The question becomes, who replaces Edlefsen?

My guess: Kontos. 32.1 IP 1.71 ERA 7.4 K/9 3.7 K/BB

Sabean raped the Royals for Leche, molested the Mets for Oxy. Maybe he hit on the Yanks for Kontos?

And this, on AGOSTA:

Agosta seemed destined for the Giants, as he’s a lifelong fan of the club, played high school ball with current catching prospect Andrew Susac, and he admires Tim Lincecum. Like first round pick Chris Stratton, Agosta could be ready quickly. In fact, I think he has a shot at making it before Stratton due to his secondary pitches being so good already.

2014 rotation lock. You read it here first.

No. I think minorleaguecentral has more detail. For instance,

He just wanted the home-grown to practically home-grown look. Does Voges count as home-grown?

Oh yeah gotta count Vogey. But these 2 yr+ projections are always just fun and games anyway. No way in hell you can predict that stuff that far out, and no way in hell you end up with all homegrown like that. It's just not how the game works.

Guys get traded, don't pan out, get hurt. You bring in a FA here and there. Etc.

Just look at our roster at the start of 2011 to now, barely over a year later. Heck even look at our starting lineup from the beginning of THIS year to now...

Gregor Blanco and Joaquin Arias have been in my 2012 plans for the Giants since their signings. ;)
