whats-a-matta-u?
Minnesota has a cumulative losing record going back 80 years. I'm not sure what back in the day is for anyone alive.
This has to be what makes Minnesota so damn good right now, right?
How can anyone forget that from 1900 to 1905 the Gophers went 65-4-5 with three undefeated seasons?
Or that '34 & '35 + '40 & '41 they went a combined 24-0.
Or that they won 10 games in 1905 and didn't win double digits games again until 2003. In 2019 they went 11-2 though.
Isn't a grand total of six 10-win seasons (four of those between 1900 & 1905) in 131 years of football worth celebrating on a nonstop basis?
