Depending on how the Bengals finish I think you could make an argument for Zac Taylor being in the discussion for coach of the year.

So with all the coaches named losing.

Who is now the flavor of the month for COTY?

Ryans would still be my pick as of today despite the loss as the Texans are still performing beyond expectations. They went from being considered a garbage franchise to looking respectable in a very short time.

As I said earlier I'd throw Taylor in the mix if the Bengals keep winning as most would have them dead in the water without Burrows.

McVay should get consideration if the Rams make the playoffs as everyone expected the Rams to rebuild this year and be slightly better than the Cardinals in the division.

Sean Payton should get some serious consideration as well given how flat out embarrassing the Broncos started compared to recently it's almost night and day.

Kevin O'Connell would be another guy that's dependent on how the Vikings end up finishing.

We're absolutely spoiled.

You've been conditioned to accept those consecutive 5-11 seasons. It's been nearly 30 years since the Cowboys sniffed an NFCC game. We're not ok with that here.

nice reply spin. I'm sure this is just temporary and everything will be great once Tomlin is out.

Ha, no.

We're in deep pain right now. The future is an unknown and could be worse, but I'd rather go there than for Tomlin to continue his standard. I don't want 30 years of Cowboy hell.

LOL

it's 28 years since our last championship thank you very much. lol

and

it isn't exclusive to Dallas; however, it sure feels that way talking with other football fans.

I blame Tom, Tex and Gill to this very day.

I kind of anticipated this train wreck years ago, but I never really imagined it would end THIS badly for Tomlin.

The inconsistencies and questionable preparation of the team have persisted for a long time, but it's starting to look like the team has flat out quit on him.

I just do not see how the Steelers can bring him back next year. Final year of his contract or not.

No legitimate rebuild can begin until he's gone. The Steelers have kind of been in a rebuild for a few years now, one could argue, with virtually no progress being made.

There's no guarantee the next coach will be any better, but so what? At some point, they have to go in a different direction.

How spoiled is one really to expect a playoff win every half decade or so? I mean, seriously?

There is a total disconnect between the image of Mike Tomlin the coach projected in the national media and the reality on the ground that we as Steelers fans have directly observed for years now.
