No idea about Mississippi but Pullman is anything but shitty. It's rural, and high desert but it has a low crime rate, great for farming, hunting & fishing and unlike Seattle it isn't full of homeless loving phegs.

Pretty torn on this honestly.

He revived a dead program and brought WSU football success that it hadnt seen since Mike Price.

At the same time his inability to compete against the instate rival was a huge black mark.

Plus the writing has been on the wall for years about him leaving so it was just a matter of time. The next hire probably wont have the same success but Ill be interesting to see how things transpire.

That's fair, but not really, also. It's not as if WSU and UW are on the same playing field. I understand that they're in the PAC, but UW is an incredible school with a lot more to offer. Seattle is a big city with lots of attractions for a teenager coming out of high school.

Was just about to post this. Has to be through a filter, right?

It really does look that nice....for about 2 months. Then it turns to golden wheat which is just as nice to look at. Then they harvest and you get stubble and dirt for a few months, then snow/ice, then back to dirt and stubble. So it's nice to look at for 4 month of the year.

The Snake hasn't had a decent run of steelhead in about 5 years. It's really a shame how that river has been used and abused. The best fishing is probably for catfish and smallmouth bass now. Oh, and the bounty on squawfish.....
