San Francisco offensive guard Mike Iupati is reportedly talking to the Patriots among other teams about a possible contract. He was pretty much set on going to San Diego until they announced they had an agreement with G Orlando Franklin.

Iupati is 6'5" 331 lbs and runs a 4.85 / 40. No question the Patriots would be interested but at what price?

Having Iupati next to Solder would certainly beef up the OL and since Iupati is only 27, would make an aging line younger.

Seems too pricey for the Pats right now. They can build in the draft but deal with Revis before that.

Not that the Pats haven't picked up the option on Revis, an "IF" he doesn't re-sign with the Pats. The Pats have a lot of cap to work with things could get interesting. In BB we trust
