I'd be fine running more than passing if we had the running game to do that. If we had an elite college RB, then OK. But when we only have a good college RB, you can't weigh the entire success of their offense on their success. As good as Higdon was, he wasn't a guy who was going to go out and put a game on his back to win it. We have to use the talent we have, and it's really heavily weighted at WR and QB.I'd be happy if Michigan was even 55/45 in run/pass plays called though I'd rather be closer to 52/48. Michigan had pass plays on only 40.33% of their overall plays (105th in FBS). Michigan's only been above 100th once (60th in 2015 when they threw 46.86% of the time). Michigan's running game was very meh though.
