They have the most laughably easy pathway, and the only team that can beat them is not in the bracket at all.

Oregon got screwed a bit. Their pathway is Ohio State/Tennessee in the Rose Bowl.....then maybe Texas in the Cotton Bowl in Texas....

I think you have to balance that against the money leagues make with the CCGs

Those are likely way more valuable long term than a 1 year ( likely 1 game ) bump you get from having Bama in this season

Leaving SMU out this year pts you at risk of teams simply declining CCG invites going forward if they're in right now

While I like the way the bracket plays out for Georgia, let's not forget that Georgia already has 4 wins against teams in that top bracket.
