Thinks kneeling is what is keeping him out of the league.

One year later, former Husker Michael Rose-Ivey stands by his decision to kneel during national anthem

"Mel Kiper, who has served as ESPN's NFL draft analyst for more than 30 years, ranked Rose-Ivey as the No. 41 outside linebacker entering the draft. There ended up being only 12 players at that position selected. Todd McShay, another longtime ESPN draft analyst, didn't include Rose-Ivey among his top 19 outside linebackers or top 21 inside linebackers."

haha, yeah that... or he was a mediocre at best Linebacker in college, but whatever fits the narrative of not being successful. It's nice to have something to blame

Kneeling for the anthem is the latest buzzword craze. Jump on the victim bandwagon while you can.

Most players are doing it now just because it's the hip thing to do.

There may have been a clear message behind it when it first started, but now it has no direction at all. It's just the new fad.

The whole message has changed. I feel it never was about the flag but do understand those who take offense at using the flag to promote their message. But now it has become a protest against Trump calling them son of a bitches.

I'm fine with the whole kneeling thing to spread a message, my problem with the whole thing is the lack of visible actions at any other time. You can't just kneel and expect change. Go out and do something. Maybe they are and I'm not hearing about it.

my biggest problem with the whole thing is that the people who need to change aren't really hearing the message/don't give a crap and won't change.

And if you DON'T kneel for the anthem, even if you're a former Army Ranger, you have to justify to the media and public WHY you stood for the anthem.....:L
