You haven't been harping on Battier since the transition here that led to the disdain on the CBS boards. I've had no other issues with you other then this matter. So long as you stay consistent I look forward to further interaction on various subjects regarding sports.

Serious question to my boys - should I be concerned upon arrival to the arena when getting checked at the entrance given that I have metal in my leg after my surgery... I know they check with metal detectors at the entrance... should I say something before hand or just let them check me and say nothing

I did. But I went there with a group. I went there with my old w/chair basketball team as invites and we got a bit of VIP service at least to get in... We came in through the guest area where all the high profile people come in through and all they do there ist pat you down... they dont bother with the detectors in that area -- Why not? I really want to know.

i wouldnt worry about it. im sure you arent the only person to have metal. they will probably wand your leg and it will go off. i have titanium in my hand from breaking it.. it never goes off. but im sure there is a huge difference in the metal used to hold bones in the hand together and a leg.

I have a plaque of all the players that were on the team signed....I've yet to put mine up...it's still in my desk.
