-6 for the Heat as they give up 74 first half points - they've sort of gotten themselves back in this game but it doesn't take away from whats been an embarrassing performance already

This is a really bad team

Late responding to this: Many people thought of the Heat is a better team than last season because the queen left Cleveland for La La Land - others thought the same about the Heat simply because of Wade -- And, many times, some of us are fooled into thinking the same when they win, no matter how pretty or ugly -- fact of the matter is, this is virtually the same team as last season and last few seasons(not including James Johnson and Waiters who have been out due to injury since before the season started). Regardless of where the Heat have finished in the standings the last 4-5 seasons - this is a subpar team at best -- regardless of what you think of the roster, or the reasons behind the roster being strutted as it has been the last 2-3 seasons - fact is this is a subpar team at best - to think otherwise until they are in a better position to improve themselves is almost insanity.

I think the Heat have made it clear that this season is about " One last ride" -- I think we can agree it will be another season or two before we really see them take the steps forward we want them to take in order to get back to the consistent team they were not that long ago.

Game over -- the Heat had to foul quicker and they failed -- they only foul when they shouldn't, of course.

Well, actually, this game was over a long time ago - the Heat were just lucky to get back in it

The new rules prevents team from playing physical. Your opponent would literally shoot 70 fts if they play that way.

The NBA doesn't care about defense anymore. All these rule changes were made to prevent teams from playing defense

This is looking like a lotto team. Riley put together mediocre talent and Spolestra showing how it is not about coaching in this league but about star players. Ask Lue...

We can fix this but Spo must listen to me. He must do the following 3 things.

1) SLOW DOWN THE PACE. This never been our style of play. We're playing way too fast

2) Never play Olynyk and Whiteside together again. In this new NBA, those guys are too slow to ever play together.

3) Find more minutes for Ellington and fewer minutes for TJ
