Once again, as I said earlier - heat defense is an atrocity -- giving up 92 points already to a team not named the Warriors.

This isn't something Wayne Ellington can fix -- the Heat have bigger problems than not playing Ellington

Not better than Waiters whenever he comes back.

Dude should never play a meaningful minute when we're close to healthy.

We could have really use one of those Ellington three or four 3's in the a few minutes run the last 2 nights but Spo is in love with one of the shittiest players on the roster.

Spolestra is just playing the 20 million dollar man. The mistake that keeps on giving. Maybe he plays him to tell Riley you really screwed up with this Tyler contract. We have a bunch of meh players outside of our beloved legend in his farewell tour.

Another embarrassing but unsurprising performance for the Heat especially on defense and taking care of the ball.


Now, they at least have a couple days to figure it out before their next game, if they choose to try.

You are right on. Role players stop trying hard once they get paid. Not easy to motivate average players who are rolling in the money. Yet we refuse to play moderately priced players who are hungry. Lineups have been shaky but these players have been weak.

The Heat are going to have to be efficient as far as taking good shots and making them as well as taking care of the ball -- They can't make 3's and they can't defend the 3 -- can't get into a shootout with the Hawks or it could turn into a quick blowout.

Fuck what the rest of the league is doing - the Heat need to get back to Heat basketball to get back on track

The problem is they are so far away from even playing decent defense - they've regressed far too much in this area of the game
