Power Rankings in any sport are meaningless to me. They don't mean shit. They are just opinions. But I know they mean something to some - so, here it is.

Not Heat news but still related in a sense - My fellow Canes fans in here, how about the Heat go after Angel Rodriguez of the now ranked The U!? 12 games into the season people seem to have deemed Goran Dragic worthless. How about Rodriguez if he comes out and we somehow have a chance at him?

The kid is a money shooter especially from 3 - ball handling skills - fearless shooter.

Then again, it seems like Miami has become the place where the careers of PGs go to die -- or at least are made to " differ" with their win now approach and offensive mindset.

Still, Rodriguez is a heck of a player and needed to be mentioned. GO Heat and GO Canes!

Ah, yes, the under appreciation lives on. Since you mentioned rebounds, if you look back at a couple of the last games - some of his rebounds have been pretty important to the Heat winning or getting back into games.

I can bet if we could go back to threads of when we acquired him, the same people trashing him now were the same people wetting their pants over his addition to the team. Easy to be critical now that things haven't worked out as we would want to this point, huh?

But, to your question, thats what happens when you throw most of your salary allocations to 2-3 players and later realizing you have more rosters spots to fill.

Injuries screwed him over like such has done to many athletes before - Any time he got out there some injury started nagging him. Knock on wood, this is the longest he has gone in a Heat uniform being healthy. Still finding his legs , maybe? As I would say is the case with Goran.

The hope for tonight is the starters take care of business as they should and when they should, so when Spo goes to his bench rotations, in the same manner he does every game, rightly so -- not too much burden is put on the bench guys to the point they struggle so bad they set off the alarm for the peanut gallery to jump on board

That was an over the back foul should've been called on Lopez but heat won't get calls if they keep playing soft on both ends - they must attack the basket and be more aggressive to get more calls
