I’m thinking McDaniel’s seat is very hot, and unless the Fins surprise this year I bet he’s gone. They just can’t get over the hump under him.

Well we know why he got that HC job. And He went to Harvard, a school most people no longer envy.

MM thinks he's so smart. I really never liked or respected him.

Stephen Ross is not getting any younger.
His team has never won a playoff game.
How much did he pay Hill, Ramsey and Armstead?

He is a very likeable young man.
When I started my 1st business, I was very likeable. Many years later, I was likeable but tough.

$24 Million Guarantee Halts Ramsey’s Potential Return to the Rams

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the primary roadblock in executing a trade lies in the $24 million in guarantees still attached to Ramsey’s deal. Fowler reported that the Dolphins have shown little willingness to take on a portion of that amount, which has complicated trade talks with interested teams. “My sense after asking around is that Miami hasn’t been overly eager to cover some of that bill, which sort of makes a trade hard to pull off right now,” Fowler said on SportsCenter.

I'm heavily entrenched in all things University related. Harvard has become a political embarrassment. Ntm it's admissions practices until 2023.

This statement is made funnier by the fact McDaniel actually went to Yale.

"The Miami Dolphins have been flirting with contention in recent seasons, but beneath the surface, cracks in the foundation may force a drastic shift in 2026. According to recent projections, the Dolphins could be on the verge of a major roster overhaul, with the offensive line emerging as a critical area of concern."

Yeah I’m thinking the Fins will have a big overhaul soon, they have plenty of holes on their roster and can’t get over the hump under McDaniel.

Their LG and C are rock solid veterans. Austin Jackson at RT stinks and needs to be replaced long-term. Patrick Paul is 23 and their LT. Savaiinaea is their starting RG maybe and is 21. So 2 great OL, 2 developing young players, 1 replaceable veteran. If healthy, that OL could go either way but if Paul doesn't develop then its a bad OL.

"For McDaniel to avoid landing on the hot seat, or worse, losing his job, Miami will have to overcome what Fox Sports’ Henry McKenna recently called a “hollow roster.” And yet, the team oddly features three skill position players with the profile of a true contender.

“The Dolphins are in the strange position of operating like a rebuilding franchise despite having a quarterback making north of $50 million annually and two wide receivers making nearly $30 million per year apiece,” Sports Illustrated’s Gilberto Manzano wrote, labeling the Dolphins as one of the losers of the offseason.

Yeah I’m not really sure what the Dolphins are doing - I think McDaniel is gone if they don’t make the playoffs this season, and I think it’s very doubtful they make the playoffs given their shaky D, particularly the secondary which looks flat out awful especially if Ramsey leaves, and the O-Line is a question mark as well. They’ll need Tua to stay healthy and the O to put up a ton of points if they are going to be a good team this year. They just haven’t been able to get over the hump under McDaniel and they struggle in big games.

Not sure if you heard but Tua was ranked 24th in QB's. Sorry, I don't have a link.....

Tua can’t stay healthy - only played a full season once. That being said when he’s healthy he should be ranked higher than #24 in the NFL it seems - I mean he had a nearly 73% completion rate last season and averaged 260 yards a game, in 2023 when he played all 17 games he threw for 4,600 yards and had a 69% completion rate. That’s better than #24 in the NFL IMO, I don’t know what exactly they are basing that on but those are pretty good numbers, I’m not saying Tua is great/top tier, he’s not, but he’s not subpar either, when healthy he’s a decent QB who can lead a potent offense.
And before you accuse me of being a Fins fan, I’m not, I’m a Falcons fan, I have no bias one way or the other with the Fins, I’m just pointing out that Tua is a capable QB and the Fins should be able to score points if he stays healthy. But that’s a huge if, he is constantly hurt it seems and the O-Line is rather iffy.
