Dolphins are cute the sea thing. But the fact is that they have sucked for a long time.

In an annual tradition, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler surveyed nearly 80 league executives, coaches and scouts to rank the NFL’s top 10 players at 11 different positions.
And with regard to Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, a couple of prominent ESPN employees weren’t pleased with the network’s poll results.
Tagovailoa did not crack the top 10 among quarterbacks but was listed fourth in the “honorable mention” category, meaning he finished 14th overall.

I don’t think Tua would make my top 10 QB list - he would place just below 10 for me probably.

"I'm just kind of over the whole Mike McDaniel schtick. Like cool, he vapes and wears Yeezys. So does every college sophomore that just slept through their 8:00 AM geology class. The Dolphins were all splash, no swim in 2023. They beat up bad teams and lost to good ones. They lost to the Bills twice, Eagles, Chiefs, and Ravens by a combined score of 177-84. That's roughly an average score of 35-17. And yeah it's fun when we look at their roster and say "Wow, look at all the fast guys they have," but it's also won them a grand total of zero playoff games."

Is $53M per year too much for Tua? Asking because that's what he got. I didn't see any info on guaranteed money.

That sound you hear is Jerry Jones’ ass puckering as he sees the size of Tua’s deal and what he needs to pay Dak.

He’s not worth it but Miami has a top NFL WR in his prime and another top WR in Jaylen Waddle. The window is open if they’re lucky health-wise, so Miami kinda had to do it.

Before knowing the details (because that's all that matters) that makes zero sense. If anything it lowers Dak's demands. He got $.1M more than Goff. They are all coming in below Burrow instead of resetting the market with each signing

Not announced yet. That usually means the league must approve it before official.
Probably announced Monday?

The jumping off point for Tua was last offseason.

Absolutely an overpay but 4 years isnt exactly an albatross so thats the silver lining if you're a Dolphins fan.

Is Tua, Tyreek, and Waddle good enough to be a 'Big three?'

Tua is one concussion from having to hang it up. Burrow has looked like a potential superstar early in his career. It's not the same.

with health and an assumption they protect and play decent defense... Absolutely that's a good enough to be a big three.

some how...i think you know this.
I'd like to make fun of them but its really impossible to know how much the coldest NFL game in history had an impact on the end of their last season.

Dak isn’t signing for less than 55 now.
