They may. And I can't see how.

But also, I have a close friend who is a Saints insider and there is a lot of discord in the front office. They completely went away from the blueprint that landed them such an amazing draft class last season, mostly because Jeff Ireland was less involved in personnel decisions.
i remember you saying that last offseason

Sure.

Except that Ingram out touched Kamara like 12-5 in the first half while the game was still close.

In his first game back with a bye on deck. It makes perfect sense to me.

Yep. I have no problem with Kamara but this isn't close to 1 back team. Never been with this coach anyway and won't be now when you have 2 damn good backs.

As a Saints fan, I would like for the Ingram/Kamara #'s to look like this roughly.

Ingram gets 13-16 carries and 1-3 passes thrown his way.

Kamara gets 10-12 carries and 7-9 passes thrown his way.

Do that and it is close to 20 touches for both

I also think this is the ideal way to break it down and like T said, if that had been the split instead of 66/33 for Ingram I don't think any Kamara owners would be that upset about it. I think scarier than the 18/9 split in touches for the game was the 12/5 split for Ingram that T mentioned in the first half when the game was still in doubt, so it's not like Ingram was just in to run out the clock. It has become quite evident that me and T are on one side of this and BK, TKO, and Steelers (occasionally) are on the other side. I really don't think either me or T have suggested at all that Ingram is a bad player as he is a really good running back and has been for years, Kamara is just the more electric player. Ingram should be the grind it out guy, the goal line guy, and should be getting half the carries on first and second down and even probably 20% of the third down snaps because he's a good receiver also. Like I said before, I really thought they would put both of them on the field for several snaps a game and send Kamara in motion on either fly sweeps or fakes on the fly sweep like the Rams do with their wide receivers or the Chiefs with Tyreek Hill, because that would seriously screw with the defense. Look at the play that Brees broke the record, the reason Tre'Quan Smith was so wide freaking open was because the entire defense bit up to cover Kamara in the flat. Besides in the Madden '19 ratings, Kamara is an 88 overall and Ingram is an 86 so clearly he's better :) It will be very interesting to see what happens in week 7 because there will be no Kamara knee issue by then, so what will they do when both are completely healthy?

just a heads up here for all MBBRL leagues - I'm transitioning to a new role (yay, finally got that promotion I've been working on for the last 2yrs!!!) and will be moving to Nashville

life is gonna be crazy busy for me until about next APR/MAY-ish, working some days in TN, some days back in St Louis, until I fully move with my family to Nashville.

will still be around and try to get back to anyone on any trade offers, but just wanted to put out a small disclaimer if you ever notice that I'm not making waiver claims or actively working FA pool in barbarians

it's been a cluster just keeping up with my money leagues the past 2 wks (forgot to make ANY waiver claims in any league last night, oops!!)

even though they typically aren't as competitive, they still take precedence over my free leagues
alright a friend in Nashville

i rather visit ya there than in the Illinois side of St Lou....

Appreciate the offers guys, or at least the conversations.
I think I'll just try the waiver wire.
Probably gonna cut Lockett to make room.
Just see his arrow pointing down out of the guys I listed, especially with Baldwin coming back.

As for the Kamara vs Ingram posts.... pretty intense.
Good points on both sides.
I own Kamara so I'll make my view real simple: Don't care if he gets 2 touches or 22.
Just want double-digit points out of the guy every week - plain & simple.

Congrats @SmokingMonkey on the promotion.
Don't forget to wear a Blues sweater around Nashville.

Finally, a note for @The Foot ...I picked up your sleeper, Raheem Mostert (SF) in D2.
Especially with all of the 49ers RB dropping like flies.

Can't call it "Potato Bowl" since that's already a thing... Hmmm

Gem State Duel?

Battle for Idaho?
