it sucks to be a Lions fan.

Once again we score and tie it up, but then the Ref says no we want the other team to win.

At least it was obviously the right call this time.

it sucks to be a Lions fan.
I feel your pain, brother.

Got a story for you.

Had lunch about a week ago in Lake Geneva, WI with the wife.

Overheard a table of Packers fans lamenting the loss of Rodgers, jokingly hoping that the Packers tank the rest of the season so they can get the 5th overall pick in 2018.
I found the whole conversation rather humorous in that, to most Packers fans, Rodgers' injury is a "blip" on the fan-o-meter. No big deal to them.

Hearing this made me realize that, for most Packers fans, they really have no idea what multiple "Rodger-less" seasons is like. (i.e. bad seasons)
It certainly is not just a "blip".

The Bears have had 38 QB since Favre was given his first start in 1992.
The Vikings have had 27 QB.
The Lions 21 QB.
This is just in the NFC North.

The Packers? Twelve. Since 1992. Unless you want to include the mesely 13 passes attempted by the trio of Jim McMahon, TJ Rubley, and Steve Bono to bump up the number of QB to 15.

Most Packer fans do not know futility. Frustration. Angst. (Unless they were around before 1992.)
And while I'm jealous of that, they could be getting a taste of what life will be like without Aaron Rodgers.

The guy can't play forever. Not at the rate he's breaking collar bones.
And what are the odds the Packers' org hit the lottery again with yet another stellar franchise QB?
Man, I hope not.

I can remember the old days when Dan Majokowski and Lynn Dickey where the QBs in Green Bay. I would hope for those days back except for the fact that Tommy Kramer and Jim McMahon were tearing up the Lions twice a year.

Crazy thing about the 21 Lions QBs, Stafford hasn't missed a start in nearly 7 years.

Packers are legitimately the worst team in our division imo. Just hard to notice when the best player in football is out there.

Amen, brother.
Clay Matthews isn't nearly the defensive beast when Aaron Rodgers isn't letting him rest on the sidelines while the offense kills off about 8 or 9 minutes of offensive drives.

Craziest stat I have ever heard.... Stafford has had seven, SEVEN, games with a hundred yard rusher on his team in his nine year career!

Not sure how many of them were by a guy who wore #34, but it wasn't the current guy. It's been four seasons since we had a 100 yard rusher.

Reggie Bush on Turkey Day '13. Lol

Our first SportsHoopla Thanksgiving.
