I guess there guys haven't been reading the latest on Foster
Whats the latest? All I've heard is that Foster says he will be ready week 1. But HOW ready? Does this lingering back and knee issue continue to longer all season?

FWIW I know what else is he gonna say..............and they have been talking about easing him into the season for the last couple of years. My take: draft him but don't pass on Tate. The minus to that is you will have to spend a mid round pick on a handcuff. The plus side would be that you will have a solid #1 in either in that offense and you could start Tate in a pinch.

Arian Foster (back, calf) says he feels "fresh" and "rejuvenated."
Analysis: Foster insists he's pain free. "Over the past couple of months, I had the chance to just train and rehab and work on my body and didn't have all those carries in training camp," Foster reasoned. "Even during camp, I got a long rest (because of the back injury). It's usually a grind. ... My body feels great." Foster finally appears out of the woods, but with so little offseason work, could be eased in to the regular season. With the RB1 tier being unusually deep this season, Foster is a boom-or-bust first-round pick.

Tate went with the 2nd pick in the 11th round. I got greedy taking Richardson in the 7th and Ball in the 8th and thought that Tate would drop farther. I was going to draft him in the 11th, but then when the other guy took him, I actually wasn't even going to take another running back figuring that even if Foster got hurt, the other 3 would be fine, but then when Leveon Bell was still there in the 16th round I couldn't resist.

well now i know why they call you Bandit

I was gonna put Emmanuel Sanders on the block and see what interest there was, but I looked at the WR on waivers and there is a few dozen that have identical value... never have enough RB, hoping Tolbert is sneaky helpful.

Just could not leave DeAndre (big hands) Hopkins on the waiver. Now let's see if Schaub can target him enough for him to live up to my Fuzzy expectations

TKO you are right. Had my 14 team auction draft yesterday. By the end I was reaching for Christine Michael and Felix Jones in order to fill some backup RB spots. RB depth is about as thin as I have ever seen. I think that it is a function of the continuing change to a passing league in the NFL. But RBs still can carry a team in Fantasy which makes them even more valuable than ever.

I went on to drop Dwyer yesterday and there was nobody I wanted. LOL. Might be forced to grab a WR.

One thing for sure with the MBBRL draft; there will be no pots of gold left on waivers unless injuries push some unknown unto a starter position. .....

If there is ever a Pot of Gold out there on waivers I'd bet my bankroll it wont be at RB... Like Fuzz said I have never seen the position so thin in my life.. If your in a draft and take 4 rbs with your first 5 or 6 picks and are weak at another position I wouldn't worry to much. The need for RB will be so high this year once the season gets going that people will be trading high end players in other positions just for a mediocre RB.

Every season it seems like the waiver wire gold will not be RB and it always is... just wait for injuries, they will happen... and most of the handcuffs that we all drafted are not good enough or durable enough to be 3 down backs...

Watever u say milk... I cant think of a single 1 last year. Alfred dosent count considering he was named starter end of August. There will always be a few waiver wire rb pickups that help ur team and start for a couple weeks but usually the success dosen't last.. Marcel Reece was a nice pickup 4 couple weeks as was Knowshon but after a few weeks there value went back 2 what it was for the most part

We had our auction draft this weekend ($200 budget). Normal scoring, PPR, 6 pt TDs. I think I nailed it.

QB- Brady $26
RB- AP 53 (steal)
RB- Morris 34 (1st throw- seemed like the group had not yet settled in to bid)
WR- A Johnson 33
WR- VJax 20 (Late throw-available money was limited)
WR/TE- L Moore 11
Flex- M Williams 6
DST- Pitt 1
K- Bryant 1

$7 on 6 bench spots

If I can avoid injuries, I think I win a bunch of side bet money this year!!!

Forgot to mention that this is a 14 team league with and extra starter from a more traditional league, so players get thin even by the middle of the auction.

I only see 9 starters - is there also a traditional TE?

Thanks Sam- best result from a draft this year for me....
and it is the biggest cost/payout league with the most side bets. Hope I haven't jinxed myself!!!
